How to read a finding
- Supported
- The manufacturer's documentation says the feature works under the stated conditions.
- Limited
- It works, but with a requirement or restriction you need to know about.
- Unsupported
- The documentation says it does not work.
- Not verified
- We could not find documentation that settles it either way. That is not the same as unsupported.
How the research was done
An AI research agent read the manufacturer's manuals, specification pages, and compatibility tables for each pair and recorded what they say, feature by feature. A second, independent AI pass reopened every cited page and checked that it supports the finding. A final review happened before publishing. Nobody has tested these pairs by hand, and no person has signed off on each finding, so treat them as a well-organized reading of the documentation rather than a lab result.
Some findings follow from a documented rule that covers a family of lenses. Each rule page shows exactly which pairs were checked under it. We do not stretch a rule to gear we have not looked at.
