A shared F mount does not guarantee autofocus or metering. Some Nikon DSLRs have a screw-drive focus motor and some, like the D3500, do not.
The catalog covers a bounded set of AF-S, AF-P, and AF-D lenses on the listed bodies. Older non-CPU and pre-AI lenses are not covered.
