The Canon EF-EOS R adapter supports electronic focus and exposure with compatible Canon EF / EF-S lenses.
- This lens projects an APS-C image circle. A cropped image area reduces the recorded pixel count compared with the full sensor.
- Canon EOS R full-frame cameras use the 1.6× image area with RF-S or adapted EF-S lenses.
Based on the manufacturer's documentation, not a test of this exact pair. Autofocus modes, stabilization, burst rate, and video support can still depend on firmware and settings.
